Even hoarders have to move

Hoarders in NJ might look like this

The other night I gave an estimate to a very nice women.  She was extremely pleasant, a joy to talk to, but…. she was a hoarder. Thankfully the house was very clean, just over run with stuff.

As much as I wanted to help her out, there really is no way to do a move like this within her budget. The labor and material cost of packing her would be high. The labor for moving will be high.  If this was a normal move, the price would be very reasonable, but to move junk, it seemed costly to me (and to her I think).

We explored family helping out, not an option she told me. Can she pack? Again, not an option, she was too exhausted already. Are there items she would like to throw out or not take? Nope, everything must go.

We came to a solution after tears and much frustration. She would have to do some of this herself, and we would help do the rest.

As I left, I wondered why some people can’t let go of things others might call trash.

Faith can move mountains, for everything else there is BD Movers!(tm)
